ESP8266-12F is an enhanced version of ESP8266-12 with improved peripheral circuits, four-plate board technology, and enhanced impedance matching.
The signal output is better in terms of stability and anti-jamming capability. The PCB antennas are chosen through specialized laboratory testing and have ROHS certification.
For users of the ESP-12 module, no changes are necessary. The enhanced 12F version is fully compatible with previous firmware. The ESP-12F has added six IO ports and a SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) port in addition to the features of ESP-12.
