LED-Pulse Internal

Detector that converts the light from an LED into an electric pulse. The device can be used to detect light pulses from electricity meters that have an LED that blinks in correlation with power consumption. (Some new electricity meters have an infrared LED, these LEDs can be detected!) NOTE! The device cannot be directly connected to the 1wire network and must be connected through the 1wire counter! Facts: - The device requires a power supply of +5v (Voltage from USB adapter, HUB, or voltage injector is sufficient without any problems). - The device has high sensitivity, and there should be no strong light sources nearby. If it is possible to place the detector directly over the LED, without any air/plastic gap in between, incoming light will play a lesser role. - On the top of the device, there is a red LED that blinks in sync with the detected light pulse. - The size of the pulse detector is only 2x3cm. Color coding on the included cable is: - Brown: Ground - Green: +5v - White: Output pulse You can find the wiring information in the Wiki. L1 is the cable length to the detector.
